Queen Elizabeth Plans Invitation for Trump Family Official Visit Next Summer

The Queen of England is planning to invite the Trump Family to London for an official state visit.

Via Conservative Treehouse:

According to The Sunday Times Queen Elizabeth is planning to invite President Donald Trump for an official state visit during the summer of 2017. Great Britain has long been the strongest ally to the U.S. provoking causing consternation from the left-wing elements amid both nations.

President Obama strained the relationship by criticizing the United Kingdom’s colonial heritage, removing a Winston Churchill bust from the oval office, and giving the Queen the gift of an iPod containing all of his own speeches.

(Via Sunday Times) Donald Trump is to be invited to meet the Queen as the government deploys its “secret weapon” to cement close ties with the new American president.

Plans to roll out the red carpet for Trump with a state visit in the summer of 2017 are being drawn up at the highest levels in Whitehall. A formal invitation for Trump to make the UK one of his first foreign stops will be issued once he is sworn in as president on January 20.

Discussions between British officials and Trump’s team are expected to begin soon to ensure that a date can be agreed for June or July next year."

See, see...Trump’s harsh, vile racist transition rhetoric is forcing the UK to prepare for his visit!

I have a feeling the Queen had no problem with Brexit and has no problem with Trump.

And so Pres Trump must repair the damage done by the African Barck Obama, who like all African rulers has been a tyrant, a fool, and an incompetent psychopath. Most of us know from history that the British empire shaped modern western civilization.

Yes and yes. I’d like to hear her (real) opinion on the increase of Moslem inhabitants in her country as well.

This is when the Churchill bust should be returned. A big formal ostentatious ceremony and the Trumps physically bring it back to America with them. Make a big statement, the way purple lips did.

You just KNOW that the usual gang of miscreants will be wringing their hands and crying over Donald Trump's potential "boorishness," when he's probably more familiar with manners and protocol than any president in my memory.

OTOH, Obama's treatment of the British royal family exculpates Frank Drebbin.

They won’t embarrass us by landing a helo group in the queens rose garden, grabbing HRH for a hug, trying to raise a toast during “ God Save the Queen” , and shopping for exchange gifts for the grandkids in the WH gift shop

I’m surprised at PM Theresa May, if she’s actually said this, she’s really not up to the task. Viewing the monarchy as some sort of ploy to reel in Trump? What? He’s already more Anglophile than any President in recent memory. A State visit with the Queen will be a State visit with the Queen. It’s as favorable to Nigel Farage as it is to any other political figure over there. PM May needs to mind her own knitting, if she senses that things aren’t ideal between herself and the incoming Trump administration.

I’ve read numerous things that indicate she was pro-Brexit, but nothing bluntly saying s. It was more circumspect as it would be, with the monarchy typically not directly intervening in political matters.

That Churchill bust should have its own chair at the inauguration

Obama claims the bust wasn’t returned. He said it was moved from the Oval Office to the Treaty Room in the White House residence.

“No doubt after obama the *ssclown, Trump will be a refreshing change.”........

This pending visit will be a refreshing change from ANYTHING the odumbo’s have done and it will be done with class, dignity and mutual respect. Who in their right mind ever respected odumbo and his ilk?

Trump certainly won’t be gifting her a complete set of his campaign speeches like Obama did...

I doubt, at the very least, that Melania will show up in a misbuttoned argyle sweater! (image of Moochelle at link, from 2009)

I had thought it had been residing in the British Ambassador’s residence.
