North Carolina's gubernatorial race was undecided 10 days after the Nov. 8 vote and new allegations by the Republican incumbent's campaign about felons and dead people casting ballots could leave the outcome in limbo for weeks.
Republican Governor Pat McCrory, trailing Democratic challenger Roy Cooper by about 6,300 votes according to the state elections website Friday afternoon, has not conceded. Under state law, Friday was the deadline for counties to certify their results. But challenges over the validity of hundreds of votes and reviews of provisional ballots were expected to delay the reports from many, if not all, of the state's 100 counties, elections officials said.

NC DID put in place voter ID requirements, but those were shut down just before the election by the higher courts, which alleged that they were discriminatory against minorities.
There is also a huge issue with “equipment” that went down on the day of the election, which resulted in over 90,000 “hand counted” ballots in one county. They have also discovered the same handwriting on a large number of absentee ballots. The NC Governor has crossed the LGBT and Black organized crime mafias and they are trying to make him pay. May the Lord be with him on this recount.
Take a look at the vote for Trump (+178,984) and Senator Burr (R) (+268,526) and you start to smell something like week-ofd dead fish. For Gov McCrory to be trailing by that number requires an almost unprecedented vote splitting on Republican’s part. More than slightly in- and un- credible.
We were supposed to have Photo ID requirement which the legislature passed and McCrory signed into NC law. Either 1 judge or I think the 4th Circus overturned it.
In answer to your question when I voted I had to show 1 form of ID and when the lady asked me my address it had to match what she already knew from the voter rolls.
The Democrat Party and their various low life vermin humans probably created between 4-5,000,000 million invalid, illegal votes for Clinton and Democrats, etc. Trump whipped them by winning with numbers they could not overcome!!! You can bet your bottom dollar, that the Pubbies carried North Carolina for their Governer, well over the Democrat vermin!!!
The North Carolina recount will prove how correct I am. (Every voter should present a valid, voter registration card and state issued photo ID before they can ever vote in any election) The entire USA voting system needs to be purged of illegal or dead voters and voters that vote in more then one state!!! End of story!!!

But you were a (conservative) voter voting in an honest (conservative, law-abiding) precinct! Of course you had to show your ID to vote, and that ID was correctly matched to the voter rolls - which were also correct and up-to-date.
A democrat-minority-illegal alien-dead voter voting in a democrat precinct has NO such requirements!
We tried but the courts keep interfering.
We had it for a very short time till the liberal courts overturned it. My family and I all show our picture drivers license when we vote....even though the ladies tell us it is not needed, we tell them it makes us feel better if they know who we really are! Please Pray for our state....God help us if that idiot Cooper steals this from Pat McCrory.

When i vote they just ask me my name and address, but not for ID. They find my name on the list and put a check mark beside it indicating that i voted.

One of the things that DJT and the feckless GOP congress is going to have to pass are voter integrity measures, for federal officeholders/seekers. Not limited to, but including:
Proof of citizenship, not via the honor system “check off” box (like NV), but genuine proof. There are multiple ways to do this.
Purging of dead voters. One year limit. There was a local drive time radio host in Cleveland who was still getting absentee ballots for his late wife over 3 years after her death. He got an elections official on the air and they gave nothing but BS.
Cross checking multiple state voting of snowbirds and college students. Pick a state - one and only - to vote in. Everyone should have to declare their voting state.
Finally, and this shouldn’t be controversial, but it will be....an officeholder who has been seated, but whose vote margin was comprised of fraud and shenanigans, SHOULD BE REMOVED and replaced with the rightful winner, and any votes taken in the meantime - voided.
We all know the story of Franken & Coleman in MN. Because he was seated, he was allowed to stay in office despite knowing his election was due to ineligible votes. This was, you may recall, the deciding vote for Obamacare.
Incumbency is a valuable & powerful thing, however. And NO official should be allowed to have it, if they won their election dishonestly.
Few things hack me off more than knowing that someone who stole an election gets to assume the mantle of an incumbent statesman.
