I for one give him my most open mind and wish him great success in his service to the country," Bezos tweeted, two days after the election.
In August, prominent venture capitalist Chris Sacca knocked Trump's erratic behavior, repeatedly demonstrated ignorance of economics, and reckless statements." Sacca now says he's willing to give Trump a chance.
We in the tech community are open to helping President Elect Trump in any way he needs to help those Americans who need it most, Sacca wrote in an email to The Hill. We are hopeful he will immediately reach out to the tech and startup sectors and start building relationships so we can all work together.
Safra Catz, the co-CEO of Oracle, also met with Trump on Thursday and there is speculation she could be tapped for a cabinet post.
Tech leaders have been quick to highlight areas where they hope to work with the president-elect.
On Monday, IBM CEO Ginni Rometty wrote an open letter congratulating Trump and offering policy ideas.

Could this get boring at some point? (uh, no)
These guys are just greasing the wheels of what they see as the crony capitalist gravy train. Make nice with the government in hopes of getting favorable regulations and preferential treatment. It’s work so well in the past (especially under obama), why stop now. The question at this time is how far does it continue after a Trump win?
Sacca now says he's willing to give Trump a chance.
Yep, especially if he works with Congress to cut the # of HB1 visas and/or implements regs that a company cannot bring in labor from another company to replace an American worker in said job.
America isn’t a church or a charity. A good president gets gov’t the hell out of the way and creates an environment in which people HELP THEMSELVES.
In other news...
The New York Times regrets their dishonest reporting and will straighten up & fly right.
No
Dear Mr Trump: H-1B Kill it!
We’ve had a fascist form of government for quite some time now. Time to end it. Tell silicone valley to put some ice on it.
Translation: we’ll say or do anything, even if it’s against what we believe and makes us look ridiculous, to get what we want.
Sacca’s twitter feed is filled with Trump hate:

Taxes, H1 visa, and anti-trust all come into play. Stupid Berkeley-style geeks should be given a lesson on what would be the price of blatant meddling into election process. Especially Jeff. Better get back to drones and rockets. Stay out of practicing blatant political propaganda. There are other folks who can do drones and rockets as well as or even better than you.
Yes please! Is there any recent info to expect Trump will limit high paying H1B jobs? Early on he seemed to support supplementing with H1Bs to fill open positions. Tech giants use this to suppress wages. Not sure what his position will ultimately be between supporting the American tech worker or more H1Bs for Bill Gates and friends.
F ‘em. Silicon was sand when America was great. The problem started with integrated circuits.
Your cynical comment is both banal and stupid. Nobody is here wants to stop or has a problem with technical innovation. Nobody wanting to curb anti American hiring practices of silicone valley is a Luddite. Buzz off.
We should all bow down to the blessings of innovation. Sometimes the tried and true is also needed. Not all destruction is creative.
“These guys are just greasing the wheels of what they see as the crony capitalist gravy train. “
I really think the reason they are doing this is because they need continuing protection from foreign governments and Trump already indicated that the business they are doing overseas will be better off in the US. If they want to continue down that path, Trump might not work so hard at protecting them.
Bezos owns the Washington Post, and they threw every pretense of objectivity out the window to defeat Trump.
Not that what they threw away was very large.......
Are you saying you want to make the IEEE become the IKKK and return to the days of segregated circuits? /shocked face>
