America can’t risk a cabinet of deplorables
Sacramento Bee ^ | November 18, 2016 | Editorial Board

Posted on 11/18/2016 4:14:49 PM PST by artichokegrower

As President-elect Donald Trump puts together his inner circle, we have to remember these powerful advisers matter more than for “normal” presidents.

For someone with as little government and foreign policy experience and knowledge as Trump, it’s dangerous if he’s surrounded by like-minded loyalists who won’t challenge him or control his worst instincts.

Might be nice to have a National Security Adviser and maybe a Secretary of Defense who actually served in the military.

How many veterans sit on the editorial board of this newspaper?

Sheez, imagine that. A president who picks cabinet members who put American interests first instead of globalist interests. The horrors!

I heard some guy named “Hussein” or something like that was suppose to be president for the past 8 years. Does anyone know anything about that?

but it wasn’t any problem for Obama to surround himself with similar bigots, communists, racists, anti-Americans, anti-Christians, and anti-Semites

Obama gets to mire our government in filth because he deservces to hace a team that wants to work with him

Trump should not hire anyone who agrees with him, however. Presumably the SacredTomato Bee wants Trump to be surrounded with Obama anti-American bigot types

hum...........there IS a logic to the Bee’s editorial board. Alas, its not good for USA, not good at all. But there is a logic....

What a stupid nickname for a newspaper, the “Bee.” That’s what high school newspapers call themselves.

Didn’t see any concerns about a know nothing / do nothing Senator from Illinois and a know nothing / do nothing U. S. Senator who entered the Oval Office, dumb as a brick, with absolutely no foreign policy knowledge.

The Sacramento Bee has it’s collective head so firmly impacted, it won’t see sunlight again until it’s time to start the lying game again in 2019.

Shiver me timbers and blow me down,
if Obama and the SacBee aren’t the biggest clowns.

The writer can’t seem to have two different general complaints without understanding the difference between them.

1) The number one complaint is Trump doesn’t have enough experience

2) The number one complaint is Trump will advance policy they disagree with

You mean, even LESS experience than the FIRST black
community organizer POTUS? I doubt it. (I don’t mean
BILL CLINTON either.)

Before him I seem to recall a certain Arkansasan whose Administration was full of folks who had security clearance issues because, again IIRC, so many wouldn’t take the drug test.

Speaking of presidents-elect with little government and foreign policy experience, the Sacramento Bee editorial staff was most definitely not this concerned when Barack Obama was president-elect in 2008. They loved it when he surrounded himself with like-minded loyalists.
