FYI, Gov Moonbeam Brown wants to make his mark, with CA High Speed Rail to LA (take the bus, or existing train!), and the Twin 40 ft diameter Tubes to siphon water the Sacramento River just south of the namesake city to the Delta Mendota Canal to LA (dredge the rivers and rebuild the levees!). The tubes will take 1/4 of the river flow in summer, that’s huge, and will have no effect on the environment — gimme a break. Most people don’t want either, but he plows ahead as if he has a mandate. Driven by big money interests.
