So what does everyone here think about Trump putting Romney in his administration?

He would be like Cruz: stab him in the back at the first opportunity.

May as well invite the whole Bush clan, McCain, and the whole nest of neocons.

If Romney gets 100% on board with everything Trump wants to accomplish than I say OK. The moment he steps off the reservation, Trump needs to be Trump and say, “You’re fired”

He hasn’t put Romney in the administration yet.

Trump takes the high road just by bringing Romney in for talks.

He co-opts Romney by doing so.

Any criticism from Romney or Romneyites after that comes across as nothing but sour grapes from small men.

I believe we are beginning to see the real Donald Trump -

The one smart enough to become a multi-billionaire by his own wits and hard work.

The one smart enough to whip the GOPe and democrat party at their own game.

I think Trump invited Romney to the golf course because his normal caddy is out sick.

Don’t like it at all.

Romney has no business climbing on board Trump’s victory express.

Just a few weeks ago, he detested Trump.

Trump is going to have himself a virtual army of agent provocateurs on his team if he isn’t careful.

“So what does everyone here think about Trump putting Romney in his administration?”

I can’t think of a single reason. Romney was a complete prick coming out and viciously attacking Trump’s candidacy. He didn’t just come out and stump for Jeb! or Marco or anyone else... no... no. He attacked our candidate. I wouldn’t hire him to do my dishes.

I believe they are both experienced businessmen and it would be smart on their part if they both stand to gain from it.

It is possible that they are both patriots and are willing to put their differences behind them for the good of the country.

I think Trump is focused on saving the country and is willing to pick the top people that he can find. this is the sign of a great leader.

I think Romney sees the mess the country is in and he is willing to contribute in any way he can. Maybe in a big way or maybe just to tone down the never trumpers.

It’s not that he wasn’t loyal it was that he did everything in his power to make sure Hillary was the President. His attacks on Trump were largely personal and purely mean spirited. If Trump can forgive him I can too but he has to show that he is now clearly allied with Trump. SOS shouldn’t be a push over or a war monger so even though he isn’t completely on board with Trump vis a vi Russia he can still be effective negotiating positions on behalf of Trump (stern but reasonable). Surprisingly I wouldn’t be upset if Trump chose him but I stress I would have to see that he is completely allied with Trump now (not just rumors but he’s have to be on the television regularly defending Trump between now and inauguration for me to have more trust that he doesn’t want to just torpedo a Trump administration. John Bolton is the one I am completely against

I think it would be good on all levels.

Small thinkers make things personal. If a CEO fired those who criticized or who disagreed, I and others would be never be employable.

Ideology matters, but then Mr. Trump is not an ideologist. Leaders look for those who can lead, manage and accomplish stated goals and targets.

Mittens has proven he can manage and accomplish.
