Beware of Flynn’s support for Erdogan in Turkey. The man who said “democracy is like a train, once you get where you are going you get off.” Erdogan is an Islamist and is playing a dangerous game in Syria. He allowed Sunni/ISIS terrorists to cross into Syria in order to take out Assad with plans to partner with us later to crush ISIS. He is not against jihad, he just wants to be the head of a new Caliphate based in Turkey.
I find Flynn’s support and lobbying for Turkey to be troubling. I don’t know about his other views. The US should not get in bed with Erdogan.
I don’t know anything about Flynn except the left is bashing the appointment. Therefore, it must be a good one.
Turkey wants a return of the Ottoman Empire under Erdogan. Russia wants
a return to Tsarist Imperial Russia. Iran wants to expand from Yemen to Syria. Of all I am convinced Erdogan will prove to be the most ruthless.
