In another sign 2016 is a year unlike any other, President-elect Donald Trump has teamed up with TMZ creator Harvey Levin for a TV special.
Instead of stopping Trump at an airport like TMZ does with other celebrities and politicians, Levin got a tour of the president-elect's Trump Tower suite.

I don’t watch/read TMZ-type shows, but I know a whole lotta people do - good move on Trump’s part!
Yep, it is brilliant. TMZ watchers are GMA, Oprah The View, etc. watchers.
Yup, they eat this stuff up.
This is a good move. TMZ attracts a lot of younger viewers.
Plus, Hollywood is Trumps other playground. He knows or has known many of the major players there. This is his way of opening up to the press.

brilliant, brilliant, brilliant move on trump’s part!
1. Big, big, big FU to abc/cbs/nbc/etc.
2. Based on previews and interview with TMZ founder on Hannity tonight, this will be a legitimate and fascinating biography of Trump, and not the gotcha crap Lesley Stahl pulled on 60 minutes.
3. I was stunned at the number of pro-Trump comments on TMZ throughout the election, so TMZ is a GREAT venue for Trump to connect with a younger, dare I say it, more hip audience.
4. TMZ has actually broken some very important stories and I don’t think they’ve hardly (if ever) had to retract anything.
5. And to really put the lie to the crap about Trump being a bigot and anti-Semite, Harvey Levin (the founder of TMZ) is a gay Jew!
This is his way of opening up the entertainment look at me look at me I am a star press.
He is eliminating the cable news channels and network news departments and establishing a new beachhead for communication to the LIV.
Trump knows History very well.
I worry about Trump.... being so high up...in a tower ...in New York City.
Since the Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) continue with their lies, propaganda, and endless demonization and criticism of President-elect Trump, he can simply bypass these hateful outlets and go straight to the People in any number of ways.
In my opinion, President-elect (and then President) Trump using the power of media to speak directly to the American People, is ultimately going to drive these Establishment propaganda outlets into utter madness and irrelevance.

Fox News announced this morning that on Friday it will air a special called OBJECTified, featuring President-elect Donald Trump and TMZ founder Harvey Levin. Will this be a hard-hitting look at Trump’s alleged history of sexual assault and TMZ’s reported culture of sexual harassment in the workplace? Haha, no.
According to Fox, the program will be hosted by Levin and feature an interview with Trump “as he showcases the objects in his home and offers the stories behind each memento.”The special was reportedly taped in September. According to Politico’s Hadas Gold, Levin’s involvement could signal that TMZ is interested in covering more politics. “For years, questions have swirled over whether and how TMZ would ever transfer its style to the Hollywood of politics to Washington D.C.,” she wrote this morning. “Though no official expansion has ever been announced, and the company declined several requests for interviews and questions about this topic earlier this year, this special may be the first step in that direction.”
Congratulations to Fox News for offering Levin a chance to expand his controversial empire and Trump a prime-time opportunity to literally show off his gold. The special airs Friday at 10 p.m.
