A Yakima man described as a high-ranking gang member was sentenced Thursday to eight years in federal prison for illegal possession of a firearm.

Good! We’ve had several gang-related murders here in Yakima the past few weeks. Druggies killing other druggies or poor innocent folks who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
