I am curious about the D:R ration in Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics at the most elite schools. What are those ratios at the tops schools - MIT and Caltech? I’d guess a whole lot more R than in the soft fields where facts don’t matter.

Maybe Congress should restrict Pell Grants and Student Loans to Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, and Math majors for a while.
