The Daily News is a four-time loser, recently released circulation stats show.
The embattled newspaper reported sharply lower sales on weekdays and Sundays and on newsstand sales and home deliveries, according to the Alliance for Audited Media.

So: Raise prices! Increase advertisement prices as well!
You’ll see it will work for you as well as SHrillary’s tax plan.
Try it!
I am not tired of winning.
The NY Daily News has always been a tabloid, but the last few years it’s been a virtual cesspool.
The only reason we get our local ‘rag’ is because one of the few joys in my very elderly dad’s life is the sports section. When he no longer needs the sports section, the paper will be canceled and at that point, it will not be missed.
The mind boggles.
The Daily News is slowly dying.
Where are all the ‘ but she won the popular vote’ consumers? I reckon dead people, illegal immigrants, criminals, and ignorant asshats in general aren’t buying this rag which is best suited for lining bird cages.
Based on those figures. a quick calculation shows that the Post lost 39,781 subscribers, the NYT lost 32,102 and the Daily News lost the fewest at 26,194. Funny how the article spins the Daily News as the biggest loser.
More rapidly than the Post it seems. Times is clinging on.
The far left wing “national media” has made itself irrelevant. Fifty five of fifty seven ‘newspapers’ endorsed Clintoonie. They lost big. The Arizona Republic kept its “historical” losing streak in tact. Three losers in a row. Way to go guys! LOL.
Mort, John McLaughlin can’t legitimize you any longer.
Time to hang it up.
The deserve what they get. They have been rabidly anti-Trump during the campaign. Every issue came with flecks of foam from the mouths of the people publishing this low-life rag.
Newspaper wars in NYC are legendary.
Trump presented them with a weel tweet......No News for You!!
You have to wonder what will be left in a decade or so of either the broadsheet or tabloid newspapers. A Mexican billionaire helped to bail out The New York Times a few years ago, probably hoping to gain influence in the United States. Given the election results, his investment failed. Other domestic, liberal billionaires have bailed out newspapers. Their investments failed. I doubt any wealthy men will waste their money on domestic newspapers in the future.
Could it be the people the News is trying to reach can’t read?
What happens when actors, writers, singers, authors etc..take a political stance?
They alienate half of their audience. Then, when people vote with their pocketbooks, they find some other reason why their sales and popularity have dropped. They’ll ascribe those failures to absolutely anything else but they’ll fail just the same.
