Obama set us up big time on the Iran Deal. They got all the benefits and the money (well maybe not all of it; he might have taken a kickback on it which I suspect but that's just conjecture) plus everything they needed to build a nuke and then lied about how long it would take it to build one when they're already working on it according to different news sources (depending on if you can take anything they say seriously anymore; its hard to tell).

The only person that would think you can trust the word of a nation that supports terrorism and has demonstrably proven so time after time again would be another Muslim. No American patriot having experienced 911 and it's effects would ever negotiate with a terrorist.

Kill the deal, Donald. No more money, support, nuke building materials to Iran or any terrorist nation. You know they will not hesitate to use them if they have access to them and their relationship to ISIS and it's support is apparent via Hama's donations and supplies and they will sneak what they need across the border in bits and pieces to build nukes on U.S. soil and use them. Our Southern border is WAY too porous and it would be too easy to sneak through California into what they now consider "their" territory and get the job done..

What do we get by canceling the deal now? Iran has all the money Obama gave them. The sanctions were lifted by all nations, not just us. Unlikely that coalition can be assembled again.

So Iran got everything up front and exchanged unenforceable promises regarding its nuclear program.

If I pay you $10,000 today for your promise not to do something next year, once I have paid the $10,000, canceling the contract doesn’t net me much.

< Can’t un-give the 150B, though.

and I suspect Barky got a cut out of that deal somewhere along the line. If I were Trump I'd take a look at him pre-2008 to present to see how much his net worth grew as far for "irregulaties" - him, his family, trusts, shell companies, etc...

The best thing about Obama’s illegal, unconstitutional pen and phone actions is that NONE of them are enshrined in law so they can be all wiped away in 30 seconds flat! And nobody can say a fricking word. Love it.

He may have to disavow it. So much is secret that he would have to ask the Iranians what’s in it.

I hope Trumps gives them nuclear weapons. Just not in the way they would like to get them.

I sincerely hope so.

About the 150B...let’s just get our oil refineries going again if it is possible...maybe they all haven’t rusted in piles of grit.

If we don’t buy 150B in oil from any Islamic nation, maybe that will balance out?

VD sanctions.... Trump has no cards to play.
Obama gave them all away.

the Iranians will simply avoid any new US-banking-
-sanctions by using banks in other countries

other countries are eager to do
business with Iran

Rocky

Oh you are so wrong.. as you will come to see.

Ok, I am willing to listen. Specifically, what steps short of military action against Iran can Trump take, to put real teeth into a withdrawal by the US from the agreement?

Keep in mind that Iran was not dissuaded from development of nukes by the sanctions in place before the agreement was made, so, something stronger, more comprehensive, and more “leakproof”, would be needed.

Sounds tough, unfortunately it doesn't mean a lot unless he can get the other parties to the agreement to go along.

Russia, the UK, China and the EU were also part of the agreement, have dropped their sanctions, and are busily investing in and making agreements with Iran.

Good luck getting them back in the barn.

The answer to that is found in reading and understanding "The Art of the Deal" and the leveraging of an existing situation such as the Iran deal.

The particulars of how they go at Iran are the "independent variables."

I'll simply put my money on America and on Trump prevailing.
