President-elect Donald Trumps campaign promise to drain the swamp of Washington might make it difficult for him to fill all the jobs in his administration.
Trumps ethics plan would ban all executive-branch officials from lobbying for five years after leaving their government jobs one of several policies aimed at curbing the influence of lobbyists. His campaign released his plan about three weeks before Election Day, and drain the swamp quickly became a favorite rallying cry and social media hashtag.
The ban also applies to the transition team members charged with helping to find, vet and hire for the incoming Republican administration, Trump spokesman Sean Spicer said late Wednesday. Additionally, neither the transition advisers nor incoming officials are permitted to be registered federal or state lobbyists, Spicer said. He described the measures as helping to ensure people wont be able to use government service to enrich themselves.

These people are too funny. As stated he might not even fill the 4000 jobs. I guess they have to write something even if it is wrong.
POPCORN! NEED MORE POPCORN! :-)
Probably doesn’t need 4000. He figure out a way to cut that in half.
rather than complimenting President Trump on his attempts to fulfill his campaign commitment to “drain the swamp” in D.C., and applaud President Trump in seeking individuals who wish to work in government to serve we-the-people rather than seeking to enrich themselves as lobbyists promoting schemes antithetical to the well-being of we-the-people, the enemedia just HAVE to try to spin President Trump’s good works as “complications”.
Too bad!
You are either SERIOUS ABOUT WORKING FOR YOUR COUNTRY or you dont get the job.
Financial independence on the government tit is no longer in the package.
No, he needs 4000. You think the entrenched career employees are going to just follow Trumps directives?
Trump will have his showdown moment with the Byzantium Bureaucrats
>> make it difficult for him to fill all the jobs in his administration.

Transfer to Alaska and locations in the Rockies, this time of year.
And a little bit later, Trump tweats the media to a twuth tweet.
...”AP still thinks in terms of big government and remain incorrigible, w.r.t. fill all the jobs as if all of those jobs will still exist.”...
As Rush would say, “We know who these people are.” Ignore them.
They want him to rush it and he’s going to be methodical - they hate when that happens.
Maybe we don’t need all of those jobs to be filled
Does that apply to husbands or wives?
Might.
That's what they got.
Maybe. Perhaps. Might.
AP -- We conjecture, without any evidence, that "alleged" President-elect Donald Trumps campaign promise to drain the swamp of Washington might make it difficult for him to fill all the jobs in his administration. It also might cause magic-resistant dragons to roam the countryside. We have utterly no clue, but we're going to print a bunch of guesses anyways.
Notice there is no “might” in the headline, which makes it a complete lie.
IIRC, they never had that expectation of any other president. Especially the outgoing one.
We know that but it fits with their meme that he's unorganized and confused about the process. He has shown more organization in the last couple months than Obama and Hillary have for their whole careers.
Headlies.
