This would be the ideal scenario to me. The constitution allows the states to determine how their electors will be allocated. Given the current congressional makeup, Trump would have annihilated her.

Have you looked at the red/blue county map? Have you looked at the GOP numbers in Congress?

Making the entire nation divvy electoral votes based on congressional district winners would make for much fairer elections and totally isolate the ability of massive liberal population centers to flip an entire state to the dems. Imagine just how many electoral votes we would harvest out of the west coast states, downstate Illinois, all of Virginia not in the beltway region and upstate New York.

I’d gladly swap out the electoral votes from Greater Miami, Atlanta, Charlotte, St. Louis, Cleveland and Fairfax County Virginia for that.

I have a better idea. Why not just pass a law that all presidential election winners must be confirmed by a majority of Democrats in Congress.
