Nothing says “Screw you, voters” like blocking nominees from your own party’s winner.

I sure hope these Senators don’t plan to run for RE-ELECTION - as Trump may want to have a say in their Primaries.

I used to really like Rand Paul.
I used to really like George W. Bush.
Then, something happened.

... joining a filibuster by Senate Democrats ...

There are no more filibusters of Presidential appointments. Don't you remember? Harry Reid unilaterally abolished them so that Obama's nominees could all be affirmed.

Bummer.

After the first one or two are hanged, the rest should fall into line.

Sen. Rand Paul said Wednesday that he would do whatever necessary — including joining a filibuster by Senate Democrats — to block confirmation of Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees if he taps someone like John R. Bolton

Not surprising. Rand has already had plenty of trouble dealing with eccentric old guys -- like his dad.

Judging by the stellar job he did of stopping Obama’s agenda with the filibuster, and judging by the fine campaign he ran for President....

It’s time for all Trump supporters in Kentucky to get on their phones, computers, faxes, twitter, etc. and let their voices be heard—Rand Paul needs to be put in line by those who elected him.

It’s not his personal choice—he’s supposed to be representing those who elected him!

I read that Trump received more votes than Rand Paul did in Kentucky. He needs to hear from THOUSANDS in Kentucky immediately!

“Like father like son. Rand Paul should STHU and let Trump and his team make the choices. “

When you look at their “legislative records,” the Pauls are simply a couple of “$hit Disturbers!” They haven’t contributed anything but hot air to the legislative process, EVER! Somehow we have to get beyond the need to “control the Senate,” and start ridding it of trash like Rand Paul. Today, our worst enemies are the Republicans in the Senate on the whole.
