Ya know, maybe Americans out of the goodness of their heart might even want to donate to the trailer park of choice in Tijuana. If you’re going to stay in Mexico after you get there.
I certainly hope the Mexican government will do that. The most effective way would be to bring their own people home, where the Mexican government has the proximity and the authority to provide that protection for the Mexican people.
Safe zones in Mexico oughta do it.
Mexico has 50 consulates in the United States, the largest diplomatic network deployed by any single country in any other worldwide.
