I am all for banning conservatives from doing this too, it’s a government process and these folks are being threatened physically, by death, the death of their kids and so on. I have read the reports, this is vicious and messing with electors should be illegal.
No it shouldn't. Fortunately, the right to "mess with electors" is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. The same 1st Amendment that guarantees Free Speech also guarantees the right to redress grievances.
I fully agree this type of activity to undermine an election should be illegal for ANYONE. I doubt true conservatives would consider it impinging on free speech.

But that has to be a small subset of people who are expressing their opinions to elected officials. It seems this thread believes that contacting the officials is illegal.
