Former Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA) said part of the reason Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton lost is because white working people feel like they have become a “whipping post” for the Democratic Party’s “interest group politics,” which has made them think Democrats don’t like them...
He continued, “What I think has happened, I mention in there from the immigration act of 1965 forward, the ethnic and racial makeup of the country has dramatically changed, but the laws with respect to affirmative action and diversity have not. I mean, the laws were originally designed to help African-Americans move away from what they call the badges of slavery. It was the 13th amendment, a slavery amendment — it expanded to the point where it’s anybody who doesn’t happen to be white was included in these diversity programs. And you see a natural reaction. You know, I mentioned Clay County, Kentucky, the poorest county in America, is 94% white, and wouldn’t if you were in that county with 40 percent poverty rate, wouldn’t you think this is reverse discrimination?”

It's traditional for Republican Presidents to appoint at least one Democrat to the cabinet and vice-versa. Webb would be a good choice, he's one of the few remaining Democrats who is a patriot and who often says sensible things.
That's actually a compelling idea. He was marginalized by the puppetmasters who favored Sanders because Webb was too much of a threat to win the nomination. JMHO

Exactly the Democrats have gone so far left they label Jim Webb as a righwinger. It is important for Republicans to show just how radical and dangerous the Democrats are, I think most people figured that out when they saw the power of government protecting corruption, lies and deceit.
The 65 immigration bill is one of the most damaging pieces of legislation ever passed. We see kennedy’s claim this won’t change the ethnic composition of our cities to be another liberal lie.

The Democratic Party might want to think about why its rushing to abandon the center.

The Democrat Party, as constituted today, is nothing more than a disparate group of groups. They get their votes in ‘blocs’ by promising each group exactly what it wants, even if those promises are at odds with another group’s wants.
This has culminated in the fleeing of the poor white ‘group’ and the middle class of any color ‘group’.
Eventually, and maybe even now, the Democrat party will become a party of ‘minorities’ that will never have a majority in Congress or the State’s legislatures again, except in those state where the ‘minority’ has become the ‘majority’, ie, California, New York, et al.
They know this. That is why all the illegals and refugees were allowed to flood into this country unabated. They were strategically placed in states that will become more and more demographically inclined to vote (D) as they settle in, multiply and eventually become the major political force...................
