(p)resident Barack Obama is warning the world and America about a rising populism that he says is sweeping the planet, urging people to be vigilant about the future.
“We are going to have to guard against a rise in a crude sort of nationalism or ethnic identity or tribalism that is built around an ‘us’ and a ‘them,’” Obama said during a press conference in Greece.
He referred to World War I and World War II as the consequence of a rising sense of nationalism in Europe.
“We know what happens when Europeans start dividing themselves up and emphasizing their differences,” he said, calling the 20th century a “bloodbath” as a result.
He also warned Americans to be vigilant, citing the Civil War as a consequence of dividing the country “dangerously.”

DOes this fool even listen to what he says, he is describing HIS AMERICA TODAY, He and his Marxist Liberal Buddies have done everything humanly possible to DIVIDE THIS COUNTRY INTO LITTLE GROUPS and then pit them against each other.

He had the opportunity to “calm the waters” and encourage them to stop the unrest, yet he did not. THAT should be his “legacy”
Obama thinks he will travel the world as an elder statesman/citizen of the world. He is in for a surprise.

Actually, both were the result of various interlocking global treaties between nations and an attempt to obtain global domination by certain factions.

What a divisive POS. Get off the stage. Nationalism here is not tribalism. It’s protection of the interests of all Americans regardless of race or religion. As opposed to globalism.
In the 2000s I was on the Michael Medved Show (no pride in that) where I commented in response to a statement made by a prominent liberal that racism should be designated as a psychiatric disorder.
My response was that of recent 1) Irish Catholics and Irish Protestants had killed each other 2) Blacks in South Africa had killed Blacks there and so on.
I then coined the phrase that conflicts and feuds between groups arose from an “Us v. Them” mentality, not unlike the Hatfields and McCoys.
And now I see the phrase being quoted by the Obama himself.
I also coined the phrase “Liberalism is a mental disorder” on the Michael Regan show back in the 1990s.
Just making a note here and letting everyone know that your sentiments do indeed affect public outcry.
