I saw this in the article, too. I liken it to when Hussein blindsided Netanyahu at the presser with his desire to a return to Israel's 1967 borders. What a cheap shot that was, and none of Hussein's damn business..

The writer of your linked article has accepted Obama's lie that the bust was merely moved ... to the hallway outside the Treaty Room, where Obama claimed he "saw it everyday."

Not so. The bust outside the Treaty Room was proved to be a different bust. The original Churchill bust that had pride of place in the Oval Office was taken back to the British embassy in D.C., iirc.

I seem to remember Jay Carney, Obama's previous press secretary, having to admit his complicity in the blatant lie.
