If they really are looking for those souls....
To save a lot of time, they should check Satan’s lockbox first. They must have forgotten that they sold them to him long ago.

I just want to see a For Sale sign on their front door.I'd like to see one step further. The paper bought by an arch-conservative who demands the reporters adjust their stories to support a new "narrative", a conservative one.
To: LambSlave
They would all have to be let go and hire real conservative reporters.

There was no mea culpa in that Basquet letter. It says plainly they thought they covered both candidates fairly.
The problem is the assessment of fairness. They can’t be objective anymore, and that’s a prerequisite of journalism.
As such, they’ve announced their exit from the news business, formally, with that letter.

By and large, talented reporters scrambled to match stories with what internally was often called the narrative. We were occasionally asked to map a narrative for our various beats a year in advance, square the plan with editors, then generate stories that fit the pre-designated line.Well, Joseph Goebbels laid out the propaganda campaign and the propaganda workers then fell into line manufacturing stories to fit the narrative.
I think we already knew that.
Try starting by uncovering and reporting facts -you know, like, true facts, and not made up ones, and not made up narratives to substitute for facts.
To: Still Thinking
One might indeed be pardoned for wondering if they just want to try to press flyover country “news” into their narrative as well.

There’a an actual narrative going on, and God’s writing it. A good newspaper will catch on to that, and tell us about it.

These guys will never learn.

"Not intrested in NEWS only what pushes the Narrative. "
Why to you think the articles are always called "stories"?
