Liberal studies professor Michael Rectenwald, the man behind the controversial @DeplorableNYUProf account, has been promoted by prestigious New York University and given a raise days after the university had put him on a paid leave for criticizing politically correct culture on campus.

That was a deranged move.
NYU is racists for firing him in the first place.
I think the left is realizing that they are creating individuals that cant argue there point because they are never challenged. I would not be surprised if he refused to come back at first...this is an individual that would be welcomed at other institutions because he was a Harvard professor.
College grads in the last decade are doubtless discovering they're handicapped in the real world because of it. That might be why so many of these cupcakes still live at home?
WHAT? Liberals are totally insane. Either the guy was a racist bigot that wrongly threatened students, or he’s not. If so, he probably needs to stay suspended. Surely, prudent education administrators of a university would ascertain the truth BEFORE he was suspended.
If not, the people responsible need to be fired.
I hope this is a sign of things to come! PC is strangling free speech and independent thought.
First Amendment freedom has been yielded up in many cases to what amounts to bullying from Progressives.
Maybe it’s time public and private universities should have an ombudsman who can call out this kind of idiotic behavior.
In the interest of free speech this man must be silenced. In the interest of tolerance he must be beaten to a pulp. Their problem here was media exposure. They are constantly doing these things and get away with it because people are silent. When exposed they claim it was a mistake.
Did it really take a win by Trump to get these Liberal idiots to open their eyes/ears and simply look/listen to what the majority of people in this country are saying and want?

And political correctness was invented to shut down dialogue because the troglodyte conservatives are obviously to stupid to subject with.
Student protests to begin 9pm............right after the Anti -Trump protests...........people who want to attend both, sign up at the student union...............
That or they suspended him thinking he was conservative before going, whoops, he’s liberal.
The Universities are going into duck-and-cover mode because they can see that the tide is turning. State legislatures are going to start writing laws and budgets to reign them in.
