The *States* spokes on Tuesday
The Revolutionary Act ^ | 11/12/2016 | Rep. Juilo Gonzalez

Thankfully, the 2016 election is over. The states have instructed the national government about the direction in which they want it to go, and their directive is as clear as it is resounding:

Get the heck out of our business!

Yes. It was the states that delivered the message on election night.

If we look at the popular vote, no candidate got a majority. In fact, Clinton edged Trump by a slim margin on the popular vote (~0.16% of the vote), but only achieved a plurality (47.69% to Trump’s 47.45%). Moreover, a substantial amount of Clinton’s popular support was concentrated in only four areas of the country: New York, New Jersey, Illinois, and California. So, seen from the standpoint of the popular vote, the nation arrived at neither a consensus nor a mandate.

Now, let’s look at the results from the standpoint of the states, including Washington, D.C., which has a say in the presidential election. Here, once the final electoral votes are tabulated, Trump will have won a solid 29 states to Clinton’s 22 (56%-44%) with a total of 306 electoral votes to Clinton’s 232, (56%-44%).

So, whereas the voice of the people was indecisive, the voice of the states was resounding.

The States have spoken.

What did they say?

Those quoting election day vote counts and percentages are going to be off. Hillary will end up with over 1% more of the popular vote than Trump, which makes the DEM angst over their election loss even more sweet.

I’d love to see how much of that 1% came from illegal aliens, felons, multiple voting, and voter fraud.

:: the nation arrived at neither a consensus nor a mandate ::

the conservative “mandate” emanates from the results:

House: Majority (51%+) Republican
Senate: Majority (51%+) Republican
Executive: Decisively (306 v. 232) Republican.

What’s not to like for the next 4 years?

Even here at FR there was little to no talk of enthusiasm being so high that people were painting TRUMP on their pickup trucks and a few businesses here and there painted TRUMP on their buildings.

This was in one of the central PA counties that went 70+% for Trump.

There was alot of talk on FR about enthusiasm being high for Trump ( but not by me because I didn’t think Trump could win). People weren’t putting Trump stickers on businesses and vehicles because I think they were rightfully afraid of vandalism.

She needed at least 3,000,000 illegal alien votes to get there. Also, dead people vote Democrat 100% of the time. There were likely more than 3,000,000 of them. Then, it is supposed to be 1 vote for 1 citizen. Unfortunately, Democrats often don't know how to count and vote many times. Who knows haw that affected the Democrat totals?

I would like once before I die to see an honest election to see how many live liberal citizens there are in this country.

I doubt clinton could win 22 states in an honest election. She might have a shot at 2.

Who likes their car keyed or damaged by some Leftie who hasn't matured beyond 3rd grade? Not me. Not bumper stickers on my truck. Temper-tantrums abound with these crybabies. The protestors and rioters around the country is indicative of the true colors of the Left. Violence and property destruction.

I have been behind Trump since he arrived on the scene with his Mexican rapists/murderers comment. He had my wife and hooked ever since. I lost a few long-term, what I thought were friends, over supporting Trump, but I just had a gut feeling he would pull this off.

Fortunate for all of us that he won this thing. Our support, loyalty and votes paid off. Congratulations Americans. We will now have a REAL LEADER in the WH after having wannabes in there for years. I can smell a sweeter future for the country looming in the future.
