The veterinary profession has severely reduced its recommended vaccination protocol for dogs and cats after concluding that over-vaccination can lead to auto-immune illnesses and some cancers. This hits veterinarians right in the wallet, which has to tell you that there must be something behind the consensus.

The human medical profession evidently has "bought" into the notion that all vaccines at any time are perfectly safe and right.

I may have had mumps at age 6. Back in 1957 it wasn’t really any big deal. Mumps, measles, chicken pox. Just normal stuff back then. I wonder what has changed. Oh, and it is best for a baby to just get one vaccination at a time and not 6 at once. Give the kid time for the immune system to recover before the next vaccine.

Thank you very much for that insightful information! Our vet is old school in his approach and only does rabies vaccinations which are mandated by NYS law. His son just graduated from vet school and is already talking about introducing "high tech" equipment. My vet just shakes his head and smiles. Love the guy! Very much in the mold of Dr. Pol.
