Michael was great to listen to in the 1990’s.
But he should know better than anyone else that in two years time the people that hate Donald now will in large numbers turn around and love him like we do today.

That is true, and for all I care they can jump from a high bridge.
Four years ago, and eight years ago, our guy lost. We lived with it.
If you can call that living.
They are not on our side.
The real thing they missed is that Trump built a brand - MAGA. He announced it when he launched his candidacy, he put it on his hats and he sold them. But it wasn't cheap Chinese gimcrackery. It was a real brand with a real product behind it and you knew what you were getting. Trump staked his reputation on his brand.
You know, like Caterpillar. It isn't just a hat. It's a company that makes heavy equipment used to build stuff, equipment that is tough and reliable and maintainable and serviceable.
He did it deliberately and masterfully. And when his clientele demanded the brand change, he changed it. Drain the Swamp wasn't really his idea. It was ours.
While D.C. thinks this is a battle of ideologies it isn't. It is a battle against ideologies. The ideologies of the left and of the right just didn't get stuff done. K street and policy papers from think tanks Brookings or Heritage don't make social justice or fighter aircraft. They accululate in the sewers and create nutrients for the swamp denizens. It gave us a growing national debt and a mess in Iraq on one side and then ISIS and Arab Spring on the other with even more debt.
He wasn't our guy. Our guy didn't run.

Is this a tantrum or an insurrection? The way these protestors talk, they want to overthrow the Trump Administration. Time will tell.
I bet he did. It’s obvious by his op-ed and he’s not the only only one. Many did change their mind, because they knew and administration by Hillary Rotten Clinton would be a disaster for the entire country.

The left has never been for free speech except only for them. Free speech for them includes rioting, beating others up etc

I’m really sick of this stuff.. . they are worse than crybabies.. Who did this when obama was elected the first time or the second time? where was the angst and the riots to say they were not accepting the least qualified person to be the President? Young, unknown, full of himself, and even his citizenship was questionable... but no calls for removal and no riots...
obama was a nobody who was a community organizer at best.. and no one took the time to find out who he was.. no, couldn’t do that, because he was black.. half anyway.. and he had to be treated with kid gloves.. the racists they all were, to not vet him and then vote for color instead of who he was..
We didn’t riot at the idea of a man with the name Barack Hussein Obama was a candidate (it sure didn’t sound like an American name)... or that he won... no one actually knew where his loyalties were and they didn’t care.. just that he was the first black President. I, for one, did not like obama and liked him even less when he showed his arrogant, worthless self in that office. But there was no outcry from the media and none from either parties.
Today, we have spoken.. they had theirs... get over it already! and show some respect... some discipline... stop those rioters and get a life!
Many of these helped this year. You get a sense that many, many never Trumpeters came home in the end. If there was anything right in the polls, there was a collapse in Johnson support on election day. His actual votes may have been never Hillary Democrats.
One of my daughters isn't Republican or Democrat. She liked Johnson's libertarian qualities.
Jill Stein helped the nation, too, in ways she could never imagine as a child.
Somehow, when the black riots were happening, I sort of “understood” it. Even tho it was all based on lies and media hype. But these riots are almost comical to watch. There is just no basis at all for them except a childish temper tantrum. Many of us were devastated when Obama did this to us TWICE ... we could foresee and see the damage he could and did do to us. But we didn’t burn anything down or go out in the street and yell at the camera. These people are like “caricatures” of something real...sort of like watching “Bart Simpson-Like” riot.

Exactly. He did nothing to help and everything he could to hurt Trumps chances of winning including invoking his dead father whom he supposedly knew would never support Trump.
