These former Obama strongholds sealed the election for Trump

Of the nearly 700 counties that twice sent Obama to the White House, a stunning one-third flipped to support Trump.

By contrast, of those 2,200 counties that never supported Obama, Clinton was only able to win six. That’s just 0.3 percent crossover to the Democratic side.

Clinton had more opportunities to peel counties from the Republicans. Historically, Democrats rely on few (but very populous) counties to chart a path to victory. Republicans, by contrast, draw support from a wide swath of many more rural and suburban counties.

Voter Id nationwide- possible? Could Trump’s new Justice Dept. clean up and standardize voting across the country, or is that a state issue?

It is a state issue. But there is a way around it: Issue an executive order that authorizes reimbursement of the states for the ‘costs’ associated with implementation of voter ID laws.

The Voter

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious survey of depressing polls—
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a yapping,
As of someone gently snapping, snapping at deplorables.
“’Tis some journalist,” I muttered, “snapping at deplorables —
Only this and nothing more.”

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak November;
And each freedom’s dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow;—vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow—sorrow for the lost Deplore—
For the rare and radiant free man whom the devils name Deplore —
Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken, sad, but certain falling of each blue state’s curtain
Thrilled me—filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating
“’Tis brute AFT entreating entrance at my chamber door—
Some late AFT entreating entrance at my chamber door;—
This is it, then nothing more.”

Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
“Sir,” said I, “or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came yapping,
And so faintly you came snapping, snapping at those you deplore,
That I scarce was sure I heard you”—here I opened wide the door;—
Darkness there and nothing more.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the stillness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, “Deplore?”
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, “Deplore!”—
Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a yapping somewhat louder than before.
“Surely,” said I, “surely that is something at my window lattice;
Let me see, then, what thereat is, and this sad news explore—
Let my heart be still a moment and this sad news explore;—
One more loss, then nothing more!”

Open here I flung the shutter, when, with almost a march and swagger,
In there stepped a stately Voter of the saintly days of yore;
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, pushed aside my chamber door—
Stood where once a bust of Churchill stood beside my chamber door—
Stood, looked stern, and nothing more.

Then this stately one beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance he wore,
“Though thy face be shorn and shaven, thou,” I said, “art sure no craven,
Ghastly grim and angry Voter wandering from free shore to shore—
Tell me that my sneering name is one that Hillary will deplore!”
Quoth the Voter “Nevermore.”

Much I marvelled this so stately one to hear discourse so plainly,
Though its answer little meaning—little relevancy bore;
For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing voter by his chamber door—
A free man where once a sculptured bust framed his chamber door,
Use such name as “Nevermore.”

But the Voter, standing lonely in place of bust, spoke only
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing farther then he uttered—not a finger then he fluttered—
Till I scarcely more than muttered “Other states have lost before—
On the morrow Trump will leave me, as my Hopes have flown before.”
Quoth the Voter “Nevermore.”

Not enough dead where able to be roused to make up for the avalanche of Trump supporters.

He won outside the margin of fraud.

“Voter Id nationwide- possible? Could Trump’s new Justice Dept. clean up and standardize voting across the country, or is that a state issue.”

I would propose one of two things. The first is voter ID. The second is change the election so that voting is by county and not state. Whoever wins the most counties in the state takes the electoral votes. This way if Chicago wants to vote with dead people and LA wants to vote with illegals, it is only one county so there is a firewall to stop rampant fraud.

Plus, if you go by county, no one is disenfranchised. You don’t even need voter ID. I know, probably impossible except we have 2/3 the governors, we are very close in congress to 2/3 which means you throw it right into the rats hands to tell America that it is they who disenfranchise voters.

I like that voting by county idea, if we had it California would still be a Conservative state in national elections.
