I think many of them genuinely feel like we did 8 years ago or 4 years ago.

With that said, I will never find it in my heart to forgive her for being such a messed up young lady who became the face of dishonorable conduct towards our troops. I may not like war, but I will always love those who serve (as I did).

To even hear her mentioned on this special day is disrespectful to me.

“I think many of them genuinely feel like we did 8 years ago or 4 years ago.”

The difference is that we mourned our loss of freedom, and they mourn their loss of ability to impose their will on us. I feel no empathy for their “loss”.

“...I will never find it in my heart to forgive her for being such a messed up young lady...”

Fonda was nearly thirty five years old when she went to Hanoi in 1972, hardly a clueless ingenue. I was in Vietnam that same year.

May she die by the hand of a homeless Vietnam vet.
