I think many of them genuinely feel like we did 8 years ago or 4 years ago.
With that said, I will never find it in my heart to forgive her for being such a messed up young lady who became the face of dishonorable conduct towards our troops. I may not like war, but I will always love those who serve (as I did).
To even hear her mentioned on this special day is disrespectful to me.

The difference is that we mourned our loss of freedom, and they mourn their loss of ability to impose their will on us. I feel no empathy for their “loss”.

Fonda was nearly thirty five years old when she went to Hanoi in 1972, hardly a clueless ingenue. I was in Vietnam that same year.
May she die by the hand of a homeless Vietnam vet.
