President-elect Donald Trump called slain NYPD Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo’s widow Thursday morning and personally extended his “condolences” to her on the day that thousands of police officers paid tribute to the fallen Finest at his funeral. Modal Trigger Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo
“I’m very sorry I cannot be there with you today. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time,” Trump told the grieving woman, according to a source.

That is My President. This is a very kind, compassionate man. He also is a man that has anatomical watermelons when needed. Proud to be an American.
Trump is a New Yorker. Growing up in New York, I always found reports of a cop killing painful, and I think Trump feels the same way. Obama might not actually find them gratifying, but I doubt he feels the same pain that normal people do. I don’t care what color you are, if you welcome cop killings, you’re sick.
And this is the “hateful” behavior that we are told we must now fear.
God bless America for getting it right for once.
We have got to get out of this mindset, where everything Trump does that is good is laid off on someone else.

It should be noted, that W Bush attempted to meet with EVERY Gold Star Parent, no camera no nothing.
If they they chose not to meet him, he would make later offers.

Trump has a natural tendency to take this sort of action - with Rudy and Newt in his close circle, he can’t help but to continue even if things “get tough”. But I also figure he’s adult enough that he won’t let “tough” change his nature.
