For the first time in 8 years, I am proud of my country

On Thursday, Mr. Obama put on his choirboy face for the cameras. In a televised meeting at the White House with President-Elect Donald Trump, Obama engaged in his usual kabuki theatrics, fooling no one.

We have become so accustomed to Obama's passive-aggressive antics that it wasn't even surprising that he and Michelle skipped the traditional photo op featuring the outgoing and incoming first couples together. The pair proved once again they are small, petty people.

It is vile how the Obamas had no problem posing with the founders of a Soros-funded violent terrorist group called Black Lives Matter, whose members chant, "What do we want? Dead cops" but chose not to stand next to an incoming Republican president and first lady.

Well, no class comes to mind. For the first time since the lyin' king "won" his second term, Wednesday morning as the sun came up, Old Glory rose on the flag staff outside after a long hiatus. Glad to have her back. Now if we could just get the snowflakes to stop melting. Oh, and thanks to all our vets.

Just about sums it up for me.

I can see why the linebacker skipped the photo op with First Lady Melania. If I was supposed to be a female first lady and looked like Hightower from Police Academy, I’d skip it too.

For me it goes back to the end of GW 1. Bush 2 seemed ok for a while, but then we got the GW 2 stuff which is a gift that is going to keep on giving for a long time.

We got DHS and we got a level of beltway banditry that is going to keep hollowing out our military until someone nukes everything withing 50 miles of DC. Bush did that, not Obama. I am no Obama fan either, but things have been going south here most of my adult life.

I’d be prouder of my country if Democrats would suck it up and ACCEPT the outcome of elections. They’ve been disruptive after the 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2016 elections.

If they lose office, s&#@ hits the fan and fires burn in the streets.

Democrats’ last peaceful transfer of power was January 1981.

Just imagine the White house at Christmas bathed in holiday color. No more rainbow flag flying from our Nations Capital! So much to be happy and optimistic about! I am still awakening with the feeling of joyous disbelief.

Frankly, I hope SPANKING makes a comeback instead of soccer moms cramming ADHD and anti depressant pills down their children’s throats and then giving them an Ipad.

No, after 28 years I am once again proud of my country, and see hope on the horizon again.

What’s “funny” is that Hillary and Michelle think they can avoid state receptions as former first ladies.

They can duck out on Melania this week but not for eternity.

Congratulations, America and very well done!

By Sher Zieve

When I went to sleep, last night, virtually all of the media commentators were sounding the death knells for the Donald J. Trump campaign and presidency. Before I turned off the tube, Bill O’Reilly was pontificating – once again – about the reasons now President-elect Trump lost the presidency of the United States..which included all manner of missteps. Bill told us that ‘he may still have a chance’ before beginning this “buts.”

Not a big O’Reilly fan anyway...I shut off the TV. After 5 hours of sleep, I braced myself for the inevitable Trump loss which would result in a new Iron Curtain being lowered over the USA and turned it back on to hear the news of America’s death at the hands of the completely corrupt and perverse amongst us. WOW! What a wonderful surprise and vindication of the American people. They really had awakened and were no longer willing to put up with the Luciferian Left’s dire plans for we mere humans. My 8-year waking up gloom under the Obama oppression really did almost immediately change to the beginnings of light and a “yuge” smile involuntarily filled my face. Something good had, again, begun to happen!

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN NINE YEARS THAT I AM PROUD OF MY COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE.

In voting in President-elect Trump, we showed the world that – despite the despots who have been running roughshod over us and our country into the ground for well over a decade – the American spirit is not dead and that we are ready to live again! We beat the odds, the voter fraud and the criminally corrupt elites who were enslaving us.

Many things will need to be accomplished in the coming months and years including but, not limited to, the indictments of the criminal elites for what they have done to us and our country and what they tried to do our God. Note...Hillary had indicated she would take God out of the Democrat platform. Our Lord did indeed have other plans! Our prayers were heard and answered. Thank you, America. Our work to return to our roots of liberty, true justice and sanity begins today. “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” – Matthew 19:26

“May your unfailing love rest upon us, O LORD, even as we put our hope in you” – Psalm 33:22

Police Calm Millennial Protesters By Handing Out Participation Trophies
The Babylon Bee ^ | November 10, 2016
http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3492288/posts

U.S.—As anti-Trump rallies nationwide turned hostile overnight with widespread reports of violence, looting, vandalism, and death threats against the president-elect and his supporters, police in numerous major cities were able to instill calm and regain control by handing out participation trophies to all millennial protesters who were enraged about losing the election, sources confirmed.

The shrewd tactic was the idea New York Police Officer Joe Butler, who has three twentysomething children himself, and noted to reporters Thursday that he remembered how his children “never had to deal with losing as they were growing up.”

“It’s a foreign notion to them. Even in sports—win or lose, everyone won, and everyone got a trophy no matter what. This is the millennial way,” he said. “So I had the idea—hey, why not start handing out participation trophies to the protesters, and telling them ‘Hey, you know what? You may have lost the election, but look—everyone gets a trophy. Everyone’s a winner.’”

Seeing how the trophies had an instantaneous calming effect on the millennials and filled them with a sense of fulfillment and achievement, word spread quickly among police departments nationwide, and emergency trophies were procured by the thousands for use at the rallies.

At publishing time, police had regained control in cities across the country, and the crowds of now-content protesters were heading home with their trophies, according to sources.

Late last night I was listening on the radio to Obama make some remarks about his meeting with Trump earlier in the day. I was stunned: He is absolutely an awful speaker when he doesn’t have a teleprompter. I used to tell my students that, when an ad comes on that they’ve heard before, close your eyes and just listen to it. Many times, you will get an entirely different meaning from what is (or is not) actually said. The same is true for Obama. If he tried to talk with his eyes closed, he couldn’t pass a Freshman speech class.

I watched a few minutes of the BOR last night out of curiosity. He sure has changed his tune. One would think he and Dobbs had been twins all along.
