I question whether Newt could ever work for anyone. He’s too smart.
I would have to agree with you on not entirely trusting Newt.
Newt is a valuable ally for the most part, genuinely hates the Clintons and the rest of the arrogant liberals, was an early and consistent Trump supporter, and knows Washington inside-out. That being said, he seems to suffer lapses in judgment quite frequently, such as how he seems to buy into the global warming religion.
He worked for the American people, among other positions, as Speaker of the House.
