Attorney General prospect Giuliani leaves door open to Clinton prosecution
Fox ^ | November 10, 2016

Despite the conciliatory tone struck in President-elect Donald Trump’s victory speech early Wednesday morning, the man who could run his Justice Department left the door wide open to prosecuting Hillary Clinton.

Rudy Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor, New York City mayor and a name on Trump's short list for attorney general, said Wednesday on Fox News' “The O’Reilly Factor” that Clinton was a legitimate target to be investigated and disputed that any prosecution would be political “payback.”

“There’s one tradition in America, right? Election is over. We forget about it. There is another tradition in America which is ‘equal justice under the law,’” Giuliani said. “And it would depend on how bad the violations are.” ...

Trump, then the Republican presidential nominee, first raised the prospect of prosecuting his Democratic opponent during an Oct. 9 debate.

“If I win, I am going to instruct my attorney general to get a special prosecutor to look into your situation because there has never been so many lies, so much deception,” Trump told Clinton.

It’s not political, and it’s not personal. The subject is the rule of law.

We don't need a special prosecutor.

There's no Clinton in elective office.

All we need to do is get rid of the corrupt leadership of the DoJ, FBI, and IRS.

Then, let them do their job without interference, and let the chips fall where they may.

If people were MURDERED as a result of Hillary's willful negligence with classified material, I say HANG THE B*TCH. I believe Benghazi was attacked BECAUSE OF Hillary's HACKED illegal server. I believe it's possible 20 Navy SEALs aboard a helicopter were SHOT DOWN either because of Hillary's HACKED illegal server or HUMA GAVE ADVANCE INFORMATION TO HER HANDLERS IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

Also, the THEFT of one of our top secret drones over Iran WHILE IN FLIGHT was achieved possibly because of information gleaned from Hillary's HACKED illegal server, or possibly information forwarded by Huma to Iran.

classified information transfer to the Islamists!

Witnessing the 1/2 ass investigation from Comey in July (no follow ups, no subpoenas, no grand jury) we saw that we had a banana republic where certain people were above the law and the government and their agencies like DOJ and FBI lost a lot of credibility.

Pursuing the H cases would go some way to rectify that.

Investigate Huma as a possible honey trap SPY for the Muslim Brotherhood. She ENSNARED Weiner AND Hillary for classified information transfer to the Islamists.

Absolutely they should pursue the criminal investigation. Crimes were committed. That laptop of Weiner’s, the leaked emails, the Clinton RICO violations are all common knowledge. The whole damned lot of Obamatons and Clintonistas are rotten crooks. That idiot Comey never said she did nothing wrong, only no “reasonable” prosecutor would follow the case. Imagine all the dirt they’ll find with some forensic accounting when they go after the Clinton foundation? What about Rainbow Push, La Raza, Action Network, and every other racial supremacy group. The IRS and the DOJ have their hands in so many crimes the offices would be emptied. Half of DC would be locked up and all because the DNC insisted Hillary would win and keep the gravy train rolling. I love it.

Hillary will never see the inside of a jail.

Either BO will pardon her OR she’ll “suddenly” develop Parkinson’s disease and play the health card for all she’s worth.

Or both.

I’m hoping they will just flee the country.

With everything that needs to be done to get this country back on track, prosecuting Hillary would be a major distraction.

Maybe she’ll do us all a favor and die soon.

People don't remember that Nixon's Attorney General John Mitchell was convicted of conspiracy, obstruction of justice, and perjury over Watergate and sent to prison.

If Obama pardons his former Secretary of State after her gross negligence of maintaining national secrets and taking kickbacks for policy favors, will he also pardon his Attorney General or can Loretta Lynch still be investigated for conspiracy and obstruction in the cover-up of Clinton's crimes, just as Mitchell was for Nixon's?

This was ONE of the reasons we elected Trump...he isn’t going to back down on crime, lawlessness, or corruption!!!

You don’t have to listen to the dems talking points of ‘bringing this country together’ Trump will bring the country together, after the above mentioned is dealt with..

The dems caused this slimy corruption, and they need to be brought to Justice for the Country to heal!!!

As usual, the Media steps on it's collective d*ck and shoots itself in the head.

Trump does not need to appoint a special , independent prosecutor

There are already multiple ongoing investigations of the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation in the FBI, IRS and Congress.

For Trump to interfere with or stop these investigations once he took office would constitute obstruction of justice on his part

Al Trump needs to do is order the DOJ and Dept of Sate and IRS to stop stonewalling and begin aggressive cooperation with the investigations and to remove the obstructionists and let the investigations and prosecutions take their natural course.

Appointing a special prosecutor would be the worst mistake Trump could make.

Independent prosecutors have been unaccountable disasters pretty much every time they have been appointed.

The theory of the independent prosecutor is that the Executive Branch cannot investigate itself, a theory that Loretta Lynch and Eric Holder's obstructions of justice and abuses of power have validated.

However, It is reasonable to assume that a Trump Administration with a AG Rudy G could effectively investigate the Obama Administration and the Clinton's .

An Indépendant Prosecutor would be a bad idea and potential disaster for the Trump Administration.

Justice should be blind. Follow the investigation to its conclusion, then decide to pardon or not. If a pardon, be sure to lay out every fact before the public, so they know exactly who and what these people did.
