The Ashkenazic/Sephardic distinction is championed by anti-Semites and (some) “True” Christians. Broadly, they believe Sephardic are authentic and Ashkenazic are phony.

It’s too sick to think about.

I never think about it cause i dont know what the #### you’re talking about :)

None of my Jewish friends ever discuss this stuff and none of my Catholic friends, including me, know what the heck it means :)

Well as a half Ashkenazi Jew and half Sephardic Jew, I have to say that is a new one to me.

We should really confuse them and throw in the Mizrahim (arguably a subset of Sephardic) most recently from Middle East countries.

The only distinction between askenazi and Sephardic I ever noticed is my moms family ate rice and beans at Passover and my dad would freak.
