These guys at NR are pathetic. I finally got a semi-apology from Guy Benson on Twitter, who used to call me “professor” condescendingly.

I bet him that Trump would win and his payment was to use professor in a non-condescending way. He did not, but did somewhat admit I was right.

They really are pathetic. Wonder if there would be any interest in a Thanksgiving award to the "Biggest Turkey" in the "Academic/Media Bird House": A competition between the likes of Billy Kristol, who congratulated himself for defeating Donald Trump last night, before the returns had made it clear who actually won; David Brooks, a fatuous Times by-liner, who felt qualified to denigrate the IQs of Trump supporters, a few days ago; George Will, who should have stuck to the subject of summer baseball, etc..

Maybe we could let Governor Kasich enter the contest. His antics helped give our candidate the best performance in any of the States that Obama carried previously.

I know we should be generous in victory, and those chaps--and a lot of others do deserve a parting recognition, before they drift into a well deserved oblivion.

BTW, thanks for your great insight last night. I was personally feeling quite dejected concerning the early Florida returns but your solid analysis and encouragement turned out to be spot-on.

Don't know what you did (or do) for a living, but your analytical skill is formidable and impressive. Thank you again and glad you are on our side!
