It's not his job, he's an ambassador. But in the past one could never expect from a diplomat anything more than: "We respect the choice of the American people and hope for continuation of... blah-blah-blah".

I know Ann Coulter is out of favor in many corners, but you have to love her style when she mentions how the French were saved from the annoying sound of Nazi jackboots as they drank their coffee on the Champs Elysées in Paris...:)

Of course they did. I admit I went there just to see how bad the meltdown was, knowing their history of closing the site when things don’t go their way. The stupid claim of a right-wing/Russian hack made me laugh. It was a total admission of defeat.
I want to say I stayed awake until Donald’s acceptance speech. After 4 hours sleep, I came online with the hope of some sort of civility. It hasn’t materialized. The next 10 weeks are fraught with danger.
Enjoy the victory. Do not let down your guard.
Pull that idiot’s credentials.
Generally speaking, if something makes the French upset it is probably good for America.
