New Supreme Court, new rules

Where in the rules - Article II, Amendment XII, or Amendments XX and XXII - do you find anything about the Supreme Court, or any other court?

They weren't in the rules in 2000 either were they? And yet the SCOTUS ruled on the election.

Reality is a tough old place to live.

If fraud is the eventual winner, I hope Trump will spend money to expose it.

And yet the SCOTUS ruled on the election

Yes they did, in an astonishing power grab which should have been ignored by the only two governmental bodies with a role to play - the Florida Legislature and the Congress.

Bush v. Gore raised a nonjusticeable political question. Political bodies with the authority to resolve questions like that one are designated in the Constitution.

Had Article II, Amendment XII, and the Electoral Vote Counting Act been followed in 2000, George W. Bush would have been sworn in right on schedule. Instead, the USSC again expanded its authority unchallenged by the political branches (as usual).

The reality is that FL submitted her electoral votes on time, as per the law.

Neither the FL Supremes nor Scotus had any say.

Unfortunate that he should die before the election.

Like so many other people that stood in the Clintons’ way.

SCOTUS ruled 7-2 that the Florida Supreme Court violated the 14th amendment's equal protection when Florida allowed for a partial recount of only 3 counties. SCOTUS ruled that the rights of the citizens of the other counties were violated.

The 5-4 vote from SCOTUS was on whether the remedy of a full state recount was possible given the time remaining to certify the vote counts, or if the recount should just be stopped.

You are right. But in this case, the Republican Party is silently and not so silently cheering them on.

And no one will do a thing.

These are the times we live in, where we all sit and curse the darkness, but no one can be bothered to turn on a light.

This happens election after election and they threaten a lawsuit that will go nowhere.

How about court intervention to:
1) Appoint a bipartisan board to oversee the corrupt current Board of Elections and Snipes.
2) Set aside all Broward County mail in/fax in/absentee/early votes as “provisional ballots” until each one is verified with the “voter”, and each “voter” is vetter for timely, lawful registration. only in Broward County.

This should have been done before the election. Now the fraud will be an accomplished fact, hard too negate.
