Nine people were killed and at least 42 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago between Friday evening and Monday morning.
The latest killing happened Sunday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. An 18-year-old man was found at 4:23 p.m. lying on the ground in the 4900 block of West West End, according to Chicago Police. He had been shot in the torso and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5 p.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office has not yet released his name.

Is it just my imagination or have we had a series of Chicago politicians, Obama, Shrillary, The Dead Fish, etc., who seem unaware of the fact that Chicago, a gun-free zone, is the place in the United States with one of the highest murder by gun rates in the world?
