I’m presuming this is not a blind auto-pen pardon of the first 60,000 felons.
Think of all the crony activity going on with anti-Bern, feeding Canky with debate questions, DNS feeded CNN with Trump questions, fomenting Trump rally violence, and on and on.
I’m seeing this as any other campaign activity - taking the list of many more than 60,000 felons, and processing for likely Canky voters, as they would do with any targeting mailing. Modern canvassing is an incredibly advanced and targeted affair, using all sorts of meta data in the public domain - magazine subscriptions, buying patterns, financial data, and the like. From that, one can factor an “index” of who best to “pardon” to get the result of more Canky voters, overall.
Do they have time to register?
LOL. Kind of a reverse Freudian slip.
How does anybody know?
Are their ballots a different color? I've never been asked what color I am, nor checked a box when I registered to vote..
No, they cannot now go out and purchase a weapon (at least not legally).
McAuliffe specifically excluded the right to bear arms from the list of rights being restored to these felons - further proof of his abject hypocrisy.
Thank You!
I read that the letter notifying them of their restoration of voting rights included a voter registration form and a stamped addressed return envelope. The article said that this is not done for any other group. I hope it is not true because the Dems have such a powerful ground game that they can easily provide a ride to the polls for every one of them.
The three former felons that I know of that got their right to vote back are voting Trump.
Might not work out like Clinton’s Bag Man figured.
It’s probably based on Census Bureau statistics on precinct demographics.
No, in VA, you must go before a judge to petition to have firearms rights restored after voting rights are restored by the Gov.
Why would they vote...someone else does it for them.
They guess who they think they would vote for if they were to actually vote...of course they think everyone of them would vote democrat.
Likewise, the dead.
No one was released from prison. These were people who had served their time. Voting rights restored, firearms require an additional step of petitioning a judge.
Thought provoking comparison, thanks!
Sounds racist.
