On point! Just look at the photos of smog in Bejing...also India. And we're supposed to cut our emissions that have been cleaned up for years?
As a child of the 50's and 60's, I remember the smog alerts on a daily basis in Los Angeles. Those alerts suggested people stay inside and children not allowed to play outside during recess. Those stopped some decades back. Yet, you can't see 2 miles in Bejing.

If we are serious about cleaning up the environment, then we should stop imports from China who is the most egregious polluter.
