This early voting is insanity. A system that was already rife with corruption and fraud is now exponentially compounded by the extended timeframe.

A federal law should be passed requiring all voting to happen on ELECTION DAY with the only exception of government officials such as servicemen who are deployed. It’s not that hard to get to the polls to do your civic duty if you choose. Maybe we should make it a national holiday that would eliminate any excuses from the complainers.

I agree with everything you say, but would add one thing. Keep it simple....President, VP, US Senate. That way, ballots for the whole state would be the same and it would be a smoother, faster process.

Maybe that is the solution. One idea is to replace Columbus Day with Election Day as a Federal holiday. But I would prefer that everyone vote on the same day.

Another thing that needs to happen. Many places use electronic poll books to check in voters. There needs to be logic where the poll books will no longer accept checking in voters after a preset time when the polls legally close.

Election workers who look through poll books after the polls close to check in voters and vote on their behalf to skew results should be severely punished. You’d only have to make an example of a few of them.
