The term ‘folks’ is the most over-used by Obama - when he wants to avoid ‘Americans’ or ‘citizens’. Especially the hissing ‘S’ at the end.
It’s really a derogatory term for him.
I feel it is derogatory towards me when I hear him use it. I am not one of his “folks”.
