$600/hour is only slightly above the Laffey Matrix for attorneys off 30+ years experience. Some attorneys in the private sector are paid more than $1K/hour.

That’s a pretty standard price for lawyers actually, for clients such as these who have the access to funds.

What I find strange is there are some charges on a 2015 bill that were listed from 2014. No lawyer I know would wait so long to bill. Odd.

May have gotten a volume discount, depending on the market. That would be low for New York or Washington, about on target for San Francisco or Atlanta for a national firm. Dallas or Houston should be a little cheaper.
