They are so irritating... Most of them have very spotty posting history. 14 years and missing years, or two pages per year, unfamiliar names, etc. Some have recent signup dates too. Or other, like 2008 or election years. Scum.

Let them leave breadcrumbs. There will be some very good internet bird dog checking for the paid trolls and dangerous ones after the election and into next year.

You realize that, at the time this email was sent, Podesta likely didn’t have an official email - because he wasn’t a gov’t employee. Gates was (apparently) applying for a job he wound up getting - you don’t usually do that from your work email. If Gates was trying to get anything around FOIA it was the awkwardness of applying for a job in the next (Obama) administration when he was still working for Bush. Although we can judge that - I’m not sure how it would count as an official action.
