No Olympics coming to the USA? That might actually be a GOOD thing given the silly costs of holding one Olympic Games. However, given the gigantic fiasco of the 2022 FIFA Men's World Cup in Qatar, there's a pretty good chance the World Cup will return to the USA in 2026--mostly because American football stadiums are easily converted to FIFA-standard soccer pitches, which means the cost of holding the World Cup is dirt cheap.
