Government recommends cutting ex-Detroit mayor’s restitution ( Kwame Kilpatrick )

The federal government is recommending that former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatricks restitution in his corruption case be reduced from $4.5 million to $1.6 million.
...
Kilpatrick was found guilty of tax evasion and bribery in 2013. He resigned as mayor in another scandal in 2008, and is currently in federal prison.

Along with Richard Penske, yes the car guy and 2 others. It was basically a "loan" disguised as a by-out package to
leave. Remember, this was Sept 08' and
no way was the DNC gonna have a AA Mayor corrupt etc be compared to Obama,
they had to get him off the stage.
IMHO "O" pardon's him before he leaves and we will be stuck with this charlatans political comback...
