$2,900,000 would be just about right.

“Within a couple of weeks, Kilpatrick was hired by Covisint, a Texas subsidiary of Compuware, headquartered in Detroit. The CEO of Compuware, Peter Karmanos, Jr. was one of the parties who loaned large sums of money to Kilpatrick in late 2008”

Any time I read or hear anything about giving a break to political scumbags the first thing to go through my head is “huh, so y’all are named in the Lolita Express emails too?”

Such politically suicidal actions have to be blackmail driven.

Along with Richard Penske, yes the car guy and 2 others. It was basically a "loan" disguised as a by-out package to leave. Remember, this was Sept 08' and no way was the DNC gonna have a AA Mayor corrupt etc be compared to Obama, they had to get him off the stage.

IMHO "O" pardon's him before he leaves and we will be stuck with this charlatans political comback...
