A top Justice Department official leaked information to the Clinton campaign about the legal case concerning Hillary Clintons secret email server, according to a new email released Wednesday by WikiLeaks that could further taint the administrations claims of impartiality.
Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik sent a heads-up to Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta in May 2015 letting him know the government was going to try to delay posting Mrs. Clintons secret emails until 2016.
In the message, sent from his private account rather than his government-issued account, he also warned of a looming House hearing where he expected a Justice Department official would face questions about Mrs. Clintons emails.
Mr. Kadzik becomes the latest administration official to face questions of conflicts of interest when it comes to Mrs. Clinton complicating President Obamas election-season pitch to voters.
Yet another WikiLeaks email released Wednesday showed the State Department was sharing information with the Clinton campaign before the first story broke about her secret email account. That email even appears to show the Clinton team advised the State Department on how to word its public statement to The New York Times, which was about to expose the email account and private server.
The series of connections and backdoor communications are not surprising given the Clintons long reach in Washington. But they are feeding questions about whether the Obama administration can be an honest broker in pursuing investigations against her.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, asked the Justice Departments inspector general on Wednesday to look at whether Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and her underlings have crossed the line.

If these government employees keep putting the Democrat Party ahead of their country, then let the Democrat Party pay them.
Sure would be nice if someone other than the Conservative press would do their job and run these stories.
Exactly, it’s sad that the enemedia outnumbers the Conservative press by large numbers.
The same guy that’s doing the New Investigation ?
I bet there is a Judge that is pretty pissed off right about now after listening to the D.O.J. and State Dept. Lie thru their teeth for over a year about why it was taking so long to produce the emails.
As Trump said, the system is rigged.
Yep, I’m pretty sure there’s two or three of them that are.
It’s a shame they didn’t start jailing some of these lying turkeys for contempt months ago.
>The same guy thats doing the New Investigation ?
Why not when you have stupidity at this level (and greater):
“...Sen. Chuck Grassley, Iowa Republican and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, asked the Justice Departments inspector general on Wednesday to look at whether Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch and her underlings have crossed the line...”
What’s next? A strongly worded letter of disgust and condemnation *rolls eyes*?
Yep, Peter Kadzik - one and the same. I believe he was referred to as “BFF” with John Podesta and is now the DOJ lead on the renewed investigation.
As for Grassley, wonder what he might do if Obama, Clinton or Lynch really did something wrong.
Need the Katrina guy in the background.
Senate and Congress will need to demand a special prosecutor. Looks like inviting the IG to check it out first is political insurance against the inevitable Democrat backlash. If the Senate falls to Democrats, you can kiss law enforcement goodbye for decades to come. Hope Inspector General Michael Horowitz is one of the good guys.
None of this would have happened if any of the other GOP candidates was the present candidate. We owe both Russia and Wikileaks our thanks for exposing this corruption and treasonable activity.
I post a lot of these articles on my facebook page, and if others share it you can cover a pretty large population. These days Social media is replacing the big TV press. Trump is using it very effectively.
