Are you sure? I thought it was originally Romneycare as instituted in Mass. when he was governor.
Well, thanks. I was content to not bother the gov’t so long as they were leaving me alone, but they drove me to it.
With no disrespect toward the vets who have been mistreated, I have only good things to say about the VA folks involved in my care.
I’m glad the VA was there for your hubby. Sorry for your loss.
I assumed I was too many years out to get on w/ the VA for medical care. If not for a coworker who assured me I’d qualify for very little expense, LOL...
BTW, Publix grocery stores provide some common meds for free - metformin (diabetes), lisinipril (blood pressure), several antibiotics. Just bring in a valid prescription.
It is good to hear that you are having a good experience with the VA. My Father in Law seems to have had good experiences as well. There are a lot of horror stories out there, but I am thankful that not every experience is like that.
I could be wrong, but I believe that if you have provable military service, you should be eligible for VA benefits. My husband was Korean combat. Thank you for your concern.
