Comey stuck a wetted finger in the wind and decided that the odds were shifting against him. If Hillary won he would become Hillary’s superfluous boy toy agent. If Trump won he would at a minimum be disgraced with a slight chance of being jailed. So long as the odds seemed overwhelmingly in favor of the boy toy scenario he stuck with it. But the minute disgrace/jail became even the slightest chance he bailed.

Well after all, there was another LE jurisdiction involved in the investigation (NYPD) and before it was leaked or made public, he had to get the FBI on board.

How can Townhall be so dense?

The investigation was re-opened for the same reason of the original investigation: to insulate H> by removing all possible evidence which might implicate her. Why do you think everyone around Hillary was granted immunity and no evidence against Hillary was collected from them? It was so they could not be prosecuted wherein they might spill the beans on H’s RICO foundation operations run from the private server.

Weiner’s 650,00 emails are a new batch of evidence which need to be covered up. Reopening the case allows the FBI to claim jurisdiction and seize the laptop. With the laptop they can then grant immunity to the Weiners, declare that there’s nothing there and close the investigation. This buttons up the lose end whereupon the FBI will return the laptop to the Weiners for wiping sealing the breach in H’s protection wall.

The investigation exists solely to cover up the criminal RICO activities and influence peddling of the Clinton criminal organization centered in the Clinton Foundation and operating from private servers.

I do NOT give a flying fig about Comey’s EGO!!!

He has a job that requires him to go after criminals-—NOT to cover up what they are doing. I have been a bookkeeper/accounting person all of my adult life. I could NEVER cover up embezzlement or other wrongdoing. That standard hasn’t been that hard for me to keep in place——How hard is it for the HEAD OF THE FBI to do his job with proper standards??? WTF? Trump will have to have an army of investigators who know how to say “You’re fired” to a large number of current Fed employees & appointees. Cannot fire an appointee? DEFUND them.

How is ANY American taxpayer supposed to have any faith in what the Federal government is doing???

Comey can get a behind full of splinters sitting in the confessional for all I care. The preist can get his ear talked off.....

He might need to be prosecuted himself.

Obama might be on very thin ice right now-—

Michelle & Barry & both Bidens & others have DELETED all their Twitter messages back to 2013....The SHTF is about to happen & they don’t have enough raincoats, IMO. I think all these deletions are Obstruction of Justice, also.

How many of us do something like that???

I am a Realtor and have tons of "legal" papers that have to be preserved and handed over to the state agency overseeing my industry. One missing or altered document, I could loose my license and be sued. I would never commit fraud or delete pertinent data concerning a transaction.

I recently did a transaction with a attorney from CA, she was shocked to find out I had never been to a mediation, arbitration or small claims in 16 years.

His judgment was also influenced by mounting pressure among mutinous agents in the FBI, including many of his top deputies”

It is not a mutiny when a crew justifiably removes a captain from command. That is the direction this appeared to be heading, and he reacted to it.
