New Pew Report: Significant Economic Impact of Illegals' "Anchor Babies"
The New American ^ | 31 October 2016 | Raven Clabough

The Pew Research Center released a report last week based on information from the National Center for Health Statistics on birth rates in the United States. Data found within the report could raise concerns over both the economic and cultural ramifications of the birth rates of foreign-born mothers in the United States.  According to the report, "In 2014, about 275,000 babies were born to unauthorized-immigrant parents in the United States, accounting for about seven percent of all U.S. births, and 32 percent of all U.S. births to foreign-born mothers."

While that figure represents a decline in the number of babies born to unauthorized immigrants in the United States, the economic impact of these children is significant, as illegal families are granted access to welfare programs through their U.S.-born children, known as “anchor babies.”

Last year, in an analysis of 2009 census data, National Review reported that 71 percent of illegal-alien-headed households with children received some sort of welfare, compared with 39 percent of native-headed households. Furthermore, children of illegals are granted access to public schools, which can cost approximately $160,000 per pupil for a K-12 public school education, based on an average yearly cost of $12,300 per student.

"People who came here a hundred years ago usually did so in order to fit within the framework of America and become Americans. Some still do. But many come from a very different cultural background — and our own multiculturalism dogmas and grievance industry work to keep them foreign and resentful of Americans who have achieved more than they have."

"Some immigrant groups seek to bring to America the very cultures whose failures led them to flee to this country. Not all individual immigrants and not all immigrant groups. But too many Americans have become so gullible that they are afraid to even get the facts about which immigrants have done well and improved America, and which have become a burden that can drag us all down."

But you must embrace this, and if you don’t you are a racist. You can be cleansed of the racism taint by voting for Hillary, who wants even more diversity, and less borders, and fewer Americans.

IIRC, Trump is going to end anchor babies.

The best way to handle the problem is to repeal the 14th Amendment. Since all former slaves are now deceased. The amendment is no longer needed.

Any policy towards illegals must - MUST - address the incentives that are set up by that policy. Are you incentivizing more to try their hand at illegal entry or are you incentivizing them to stay home and apply through the legal process?

With 600 million people south of our porous non-existent southern border and untold millions outside the Americas who might also avail themselves of this easy access, there can be only one immigration policy - Stop giving prizes for illegal entry.

Any measure that permits those who entered illegally to benefit from that illegal act is amnesty. And any amnesty will bring millions more invaders.

This must be stopped.

Will you help stop this?

Democrats/Liberals are so ignorant (whether willfully, or naturally) in their understanding of our Constitution they lie when explaining “Anchor Baby”. There is NO SUCH THING as an anchor baby which any illegal drops on America’s doorstep. The children should be sent home with their parents, post haste.

Wise up, defeaters of our Constitution or forever be branded as the imbeciles you are.

Hijra, or Hegira, i.e., invasion by migration works. It works especially well if the hosts are stupid enough to provide generous welfare, which increases the reproduction rate of the invading parasites relative to the hard-working (”deplorable”) hosts.

Obama well knows this, and supports it heavily.

Also called, by me, “the cuckoo strategy.” Get others to provide the means to raise your progeny.

This can’t be true. The Democrats told us the illegal invaders were a net gain to the economy.

Not allowing anchor babies US citizenship should be at the top of Trump’s list.

Today, any immigrant who comes here and quickly takes Govt monies, I see as dragging us down. We got many more draggers then those doing well.

No, don’t do that - the 14th makes the states abide by the protections of the BOR so, for example, New York and all of its subdivisions MUST abide by the 2nd Amendment.

However, you can simply have Congress pass a law, and President Trump sign it, stating that the US will not exercise jurisdiction, for purposes of the 14th Amendment, over the children of non-residents or illegal residents. End of anchor babies in 5 minutes.

You forgot prison terms, followed by immediate and permanent deportation, for ANY non-citizen who even registers to vote, let alone votes, in any election in this country.

If they were such a boon to an economy, then why aren’t the countries south of the border as wealthy as us?

That might work.

The first amendment starts, “Congress shall make no law...” The USSC invented the Incorporation Doctrine in 1925 to make the states subject to the BOR—by distorting the 14th amendment. But the second amendment does not begin “Congress shall make no law..” I.e., no need for the incorporation doctrine to make the 2A apply to the states. Just as no state has been permitted to violate the 4A or the 5A, even before the incorporation doctrine.

It’s not necessary to repeal that portion of the 14th. We just have to enforce it as it was intended to be enforced, instead of allowing `rats to use it as an `All-y all-y in come free!” mechanism.

http://www.14thamendment.us/birthright_citizenship/original_intent.html
“This understanding was reaffirmed by Senator Edward Cowan, who stated:

“[A foreigner in the United States] has a right to the protection of the laws; but he is not a citizen in the ordinary acceptance of the word...”

“The phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” was intended to exclude American-born persons from automatic citizenship whose allegiance to the United States was not complete. With illegal aliens who are unlawfully in the United States, their native country has a claim of allegiance on the child.”

Mexico recognizes dual citizenship but has no `statutory rape’ laws.

PS It’s a great `rat scam, too, because once Chinese, Mexican, central American and other cowbirds manage to evade our immigration laws and drop their eggs in our nest, they can then say,
“You wouldn’t tear a child from the arms of its parents, would you?” So, “anchors”.
They don’t have a problem with tearing babies from their mothers’ bodies, but have the brass to make this specious argument.
