Well, she didn’t just make mistakes, so not incompetent in that sense. Her intent was criminal. I believe she has been willfully engaging in espionage.
Her incompetence is just what got her caught.
OTOH, the phrase “stupid criminal” is redundant. Smart people aren’t criminals.

Huma was already under suspicion for “accidentally” leaving classified docs behind on a hotel suite in China. Plus, according to wiki leaks, she left docs in her car, then emailed somebody else (I forget who) to get em out of her car and burn. Classic spy drop tactics?
