I agree with you. Hillary’s ads cost millions and are already down the $$$ rat hole, for all the good they did after Friday’s corruption dump.
Trump is “scotch” about money. And Scotch Irish is in his gene pool. :D
Moreover I think Trump understands that by now people have heard, digested, and tuned out all of Hillary’s ads, but they have not become desensitized to HIS ads, so he gets an outsized effect, right at the time he wants to peak. If Trump had become an Ad Man, he would probably own the whole freaking world by now.
